Is it a good sign?

I received the second part to my application to complete for the background. Does it mean I'm being considered?

Yes, it is good that they sent you the supplemental application. I received mine in April 2007. They are still in the processing stage of my application. In September 2007 I took my polygraph exam, and from November 2007 through March 2008 they are doing the background phase. If I pass the background phase, I will have to go to Tallahassee again to test for Psychological Exam, Medical Exam, Drug Screening, Hearing and Eye tests, and an Oral Board. It is a very S L O W process. Be patient. The MCC Officers I spoke to say it takes about a year, sometimes longer. I received a Conditional Offer of Employment MONTHS AGO. DO NOT quit your present job. If this is what you really want, and you are willing to work in one of the 3 areas that they are hiring for, it is worth it.
