Heard a rumor that FHP will be merging with DOT/MCCO. Can anyone advise if this is true??

Hate the idea. I'm pumping out a bunch of resumes and I'm hoping that I will not be part of it. Below is a link of a study that was done several years ago. It's still today as far as I'm concern.

Talked to two federal guys at the scales and they said if the merger did occur, FHP would NOT be able to touch the federal dollars that it was designed for; motor carrier inspections. The Senate was told that if FHP screwed that up, the state would have lost millions. The Senate then shot it down.
