Boca Mall / Pines mall connection

Just got this email. Is this true?

My sister was just at Victoria’s Secret at the new Pembroke Gardens shopping mall. When she got there, there were cops everywhere, evidentially that serial killer that killed the mom and her 9 year old daughter around the holidays at the Boca town center is making his way down south and was able to target another victim at the Sawgrass mall. They have his pictures posted from Palm beach County down to Broward now and heading towards Miami-Dade. PLEASE PLEASE make sure that valet your car (cops advise) if you are planning on shopping late at the mall ( I would suggest that you do so during the day time as well) and just be very AWARE of your surroundings, hopefully they will catch this maniac before he lands his next victim!!! Be safe!!!!

While it's always a good idea to be vigilant, especially if you're alone, I don't believe there is any truth to this email. It sounds like scare tactics of a valet company to ensure a healthy dose of clients. Valet if you feel safer, or wait for the Mall Patrol to cruise by and ask for an escort to your vehicle.

Here is a good rule of thumb. If an e-mail ends with "Please forward this message...", it is most likely B.S.
