Is it true a backgorund investigation is being done on an Administrative assistant that was at one time an agent? As is it true she is being hand picked to take the training position left vacant by Norris? If so, did Tallahassee open this position for current agents who might want to transfer into this position? Or is it business as usual? Take care of your friends whether it's right or wrong, let your friend have an agents job with wekends and holidays off and a 3% retirement. No wonder things aren't getting better, they seem to just be getting worse!

There have been worse deals. IG office just hired in a LT with no beverage experience and no internals under his belt. Let's not forget the two Tallahassee Captains who came in at LT with no experience whatsoever, but they made up for it by attacking everyone here like those Raptors at the end of Jurassic Park. So they are bringing Beverly in and at least she's not LT Blankenship, or Capt. Blankenship, or Maj. Blankenship...yet.

The problem isn't hiring her back, from what I hear she was an okay agent. But, they never posted the position for a current agent to transfer into the spot. A current agent somewhere might want to work for CT. Who knows. Just do the right thing, post the position and if no one wants it give it to BB. And should someone else want it, offer her another position or let them do what they do best, create a position for her. :wink:

That aint nothing. BB going back to a Special Agent aint nothing. Let me tell you what is somthing. What about Susan Dorherty going from office assistant clerk all the way to Bureau Chief of Licensing. Lets see..27 years state exp., as a clerk, 5 of which has been with ABT, none in licensing...a GED with no degree...Yep that qualifies her.. afterall look at the last 2 that had it! :lol: You go CH. What a choice. :shock:

whats the deal with that office,
doesn't anyone want to work there. Looks like people leave just as fast as they start.
How many agents are in the office, no captains,
Looks like most Lts. oversee 3 people is that about right.
lastly how often is there a a tranfer from offices in the first year.

The stability of an office is directly related to the quality of supervision. Quality supervision = happy agents.

It just goes on and on. Same thing in licensing. Promote a unqualified person to fill a position with job specific skill set and get ready for the fallout. Nevermind that there were plenty of folks qualified to do the job, and have waited years for the opportunity.

Not only did they go against what they have said they would not do by not advertising the position, but also why do you need two Captains in the Chief's Office. Didn't Cave and before that Pate do the same job with only one Captain. Geiers email did not have a bunch of new programs...... Makes one wonder.
