1). Sandvik, 62, will stay on the payroll until his scheduled retirement March 2. He'll then have his 10 years in with the city and be eligible for retirement benefits.
It's March 6th so I guess he is retired? And if he is off the payroll, where is that money going now?

Was there any Interest Tacked on to this Loan? Sounds more like a marriage to me. (Loan arrangement)? The longer you stay in it, the harder it is to leave. Oh well, Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?

Is there going to be a takeover? And are these officers still living in limbo wondering who will sign their paychecks by the end of the year?
