The Department is in good shape and continuing to move forward.

The Interim Chief was a Major at Hollywood Police Department an Agency of over 600 employees and a budget of over 64 million. He has over 30 years of Experience in Law Enforcement.

The Major was the Deputy Chief at Davie and a graduate of the FBI National Academy.

The Hollywood Operations Captain was the Colonel at BSO and the Director of Law Enforcement for Broward County. He oversaw over 4,000 sworn deputies and is also a graduate of the FBI national academy.

The Department is currently being run by top notch professionals.

WHAT MAKES YOU THINK HE WILL BE THE NEXT CHIEF. YOU ALL ARE IN STATE OF SHOCK. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE DEPUTY CHIEF GET IT, BUT HE IS LIKE CHARLIE HE WILL STAND BEHIND HIS OFFICERS WHEN THEY ARE RIGHT AND THE TRIBE DOESN'T WANT THAT. SO FROM A RELIABLE CREDITABLE SOURCE, THE NEXT CHIEF DOES NOT CURRENTLY WORK FOR SPD. BUT THE RANKING OFFICIALS FROM SGT AND ABOVE WILL HAVE PLENTY TO WORRY ABOUT AND SEE WHO WILL BE KISSING WHOS _ _ _ NOW. FOR THOSE WHO ARE MICRO-MANANGERS, POLITICIANS, LIERS, CHEATERS, _ _ _ KISSERS AND ONLY BEEN WITH THE DEPARTMENT TWO YEARS OR LESS AND GOT PROMOTED TO SGT OR ABOVE WATCH OUT AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU.

THE NEW CHIEF ALREADY HAS A COUPLE OF PERSONAL FRIENDS IN THE DEPARTMENT. THEY ARE THE EYES AND EARS FOR HIM AND YOU DON'T KNOW IT OR WHO THEY ARE. HE ALREADY KNOWS WHATS GOING ON IN THE DEPARTMENT AND WHAT SUPERVISORS ARE MAKING ENEMIES WITH CO-WORKERS. WATCH OUT WHO YOU TALK TO AND SAY NOTHING TO NO ONE. WE ALL WANT TO KEEP ARE PRECIOUS JOBS.
