REACCREDITATION

On a positive note, I would like to congratulate everyone on our reaccreditation. We accepted our Certificate of Reaccreditation on Wednesday in front of representatives of nearly 150 plus law enforcement agencies from around the State of Florida. I was very proud to be a part of this department. We were praised over and over again by the Commission for our professionalism, teamwork and committment to the accreditation process. They specifically mentioned all the officers participating in the static display and said it was one of the most exceptional displays they had ever seen. They further commented on all of the officers they rode along with. They stated you guys were very knowledgeable and were a credit to the Department. Again, thanks for all your hard work guys. I know it was a pain for everyone involved, but we could not have pulled it off without the full cooperation of everyone. I think it is a good example of what we are capable of if we all work together.
