I know it's difficult to go talk to him in person. Everyone's scared their gonna get fired. But, if you don't talk to him, then you don't know how he feels. We should at least give him the benifit of the doubt.

let me see if this is right. armed deputies who put their life on the line every day against the bad guys are now petrified to go in and speak to the sheriff? even though there is NOT ONE DOCUMENTED CASE of someone ever getting in trouble or being retaliated against who's ever done so. big bad LEO's terrified in their boots to talk to the sheriff. the only officer who ever got in trouble was one of us that went to the man and talked with him and got into trouble with his LT, the notorious King Kammo, who didn't want his man speaking without permission or the editing of his script first. No other case ever happened. He has an open door policy and as long as you present it in a professional manner (duhhhhh) there's not a problem. If you boys can't, then why don't you turn in your badges and guns and become a welfare worker because that's what you sound like!

who is King Kammo?

Your right, he opens his door, lies to you and sends you on your merry way. An open door policy is only as good as the person on the other side of the door being willing to care about what you say. He doesn't care, never has.
