What about sponsership? I have applied and was wondering how long until they let you know about the 2nd portion of the application?

Any input or experience would be appreciated.

Does JPD lean towards hiring local/area certified LEO's (47 yo w/18 years / 2 years FL) looking to step up?
Or do they like to go further out, getting younger officers to mold themselves?

It takes about six months to hear from them. If you're not number one, you will not be selected. They only hire one person at a time! Good Luck.

Is Jupiter PD hiring? If you are, how many positions are open? I noticed there are scheduled events where your recruiting booth's are going to be set up?
