Law Enforcement Investigator II

is the Law Enforcement Investigator II a entry level position. Is Investigator I lower or higher?
I'm dual certified Corr/LE. I have 2yrs in corrections and no road (LEO) exp. Would they hire someone with no LE exp?

We only have LEI IIs now. To meet the minimum qualifications you need either 2 years on the job LEO experience or a BA/BS degree and 1 year on the job LEO experience.

In the state system, LEI I would be equal to a corporal. LEI II would be equal to a sergeant. A good sergeant is worth about two lieutenants. It normally takes four captains to equal a lieutenant, but I think you get the structure aspect of this.
