Is it true that after five years of service NPPD maxes out your pay at 59k. A PGPD officer told me this the other day and it sounded to good to be true.

Man both salaries are kind of pathetic!!! Why should it take 9 years to top out at only $59,000? You guys should top out at 5 years AND your salary should be higher!!!

We (at the SSO) have been capped out at 55k for 5 years in a row. Yep, you read that right: NO PAYRAISES!!!! This year we got our first raise and we're now jacked up to 58k.
Firefighters make 65k (67k with certain certifications). I should have been a firefighter!!! :roll:
And if you vote yes on this, we won't have a job so who cares?
