I submitted an online application for the vacancies in Fort Myers and Orlando. I am certified with 2 years experience. I have some dings from minor IA issues at my previous agency. How does the agency tend to look upon these? Is it a case by case basis?

I have always been interested in DOT because I enjoy working traffic and doing interdiction. How long is the process for a certified officer, and what does it consist of? Thanks, guys.

Go to the website, look up employment for law enforcement. On the bottom of that page will have contact information of the person you need to speak to, which of course will be Sgt. Goodman, since he is the recruiting Sgt.
