What's more important in Law Enforcement?
Politics or Police work? Discuss amongst yoruselves.

I think getting the job done is more important than who owes who political favors. Realistically though it has to be kept in mind because if you can't get past it, you get your foot in the door to get the job done. It's like a catch 22.

Politics will always dictate the way law enforcement goes.

Politics involving the priorities of the rich always seem to win.

Now, lets see:
1- Sheriff, elected official
2-State Attorney, elected official
3-Attorney General. elected official
4-Judges. elected & appointed by elected officials
5-Agency Directors. appointed by elected officials
and the list goes the same way in the federal system/

Nah, there are no politics in law enforcement
