Does anyone know anything about sanibel pd??? How many sworn members? Is it a career department or mostly a stepping stone or a retirement department?

Take home cars? Good morale? Hire often? Anything anyone can say would be great, thanks!

THEY ONLY HAVE 4 CARS, NO TAKE HOME UNLESS A DETECTIVE. THEY ONLY HAVE 3-4 OFFICER WORKIN A SHIFT. SANIBEL IS VERY SMALL A SECLUDED AREA. IT CONSIDERED TO BE A STEP/ RETIREMENT.

Really only 4 cars? How many officers do they have and why is there such a high turnover, everyone gets bored im guessing?

its a good agency. I know alot of guys out there and the one thing they have out there is respect for each other and good morale. Great bunch of guys and women

i think if its a small department with lots of turnover if you went there in your 20s and spent your career there you would have big chances on making up there in rank. Also their website was revamped and they falt out admit they have a problem with turnover and are looking at ways of retaining people by offering better benefits. take home cars might be in the future, who knows?????

What do you need a take home car for so badly? Dont like paying for gas? Lets make the taxpayers do it. get real.
