I thought it was interesting to hear Ken G. say "our police department is never going to be the highest paid agency in this area, it cant be".

Money for the security guards are coming from another budget. That's governmental /beauacracy BS. Take away from the budget that funded security guards and put it into the budget that funds the PD. When was the last time the USF PD budget was increased? Is it even up to date where it should be at 2007?

WE'RE NOT ASKING TO BE THE HIGHEST POLICE DEPT IN THE AREA, KEN, YOU FRIGGING MORON, WE'RE LOOKING FOR A RAISE THAT WILL AT LEAST COVER THE ANTICIPATED INCREASE IN THE PARKING PERMIT WE'RE REQUIRED TO BUY TO PARK IN OUR FRIGGIN LOT.!!!!! NOT THE 1.5 % IN 2009 THAT THE UNIVERSITY IS OFFERING US NOW.

USFPD will not be the highest paid PD in the area. :shock: We have never even asked for that in our negotiations. It just goes to show you that the upper admin of USF has no clue about what is really happening. Even if USF were to agree to our wage package we would still be several thousand behind most agencies for starting salary in the area and still lack many of the benefits other agencies offer. It?s about time someone comes into USF and start to investigate their money handelings.
