On Tuesday, a Lake Worth police officer saw a van carrying too many people and pulled it over. The driver was in the country illegally, had no identification and no driver’s license. The officer wrote several tickets and towed his van away. The officer also remembered that he cited the same guy a few years ago for safety violations on another migrant bus.

The officer then asked the towing company to let him know when someone shows up to pick up the vehicle.

The next day, Juan Bartolome, 35, went to the towing facility at 3rd Avenue South and South H Street. He provided a driver’s license, with a fake number on it.

The officer responded and arrested him for a felony: possession of a false driver’s license. Bartolome didn’t know the date of birth and name that was on his license. And he admitted he bought it in Miami for $400 after his license was revoked for driving under the influence, police said. He was booked into Palm Beach County Jail. [/quote]

Good police work! It is nice to see someone on this site that still cares about doing the job instead of whining, complaining, and trying to get more money.
