I have some questions on the Lee County Corrections.
Do Lee County Corrections deputies take an armed vehicle transfer class to transfer inmates. I know in Collier County Sheriffs Corrections you can take an armed vehicle transport class and are certified and you have to bring a firearm to work everyday in case of a transfer (hospital, sub station pick up etc..) After they take that class they are allowed to carry on the badge but only in Collier County. I wasn't sure if Lee County Sheriffs corrections were the same or different. So are Lee County Sheriffs Office Corrections officers permitted to carry a weapon on uniform to and from work? What about off duty?
