Bailiff Position

Can any current Deputies provide information on the Bailiff position with CCSO, such as shifts, take home car, other duties, starting pay same as road deputy, etc ? Also, is it possible for a certified officer to hire on straight into a Bailiff position?

M - F frpm 7am to 5pm (Give or take on hour here or there depending on the docket) Weekends and Holidays off.

Yes - car

No - duties (Unless court is closed for a hurricane or you need to make some time up)

Yes - same pay

Yes - striaght in

Thanks for the info George. I did call them and they said I could apply for Bailiff, but I wasn't sure if they actually hired people straight in. I am working on my application packet now, just waiting to see how the property tax issue is going to affect the fiscal year hiring.
