So the newest from the great county of Cherokee is.........that Fatback has taken Larry off his schedule at the store, kinda funny considering that Larry works for Fatback and Fatback is also one of the commissioners.

Hmmm guess someone up in that office let it out!

I find it hard to believe that Larry, although he is a nice person, that he would be even qualified for such a position. Even though he may have had some L.E. experience in the past, that alone does not make him eligible. What has happen here is Commissioner ****ey (GOB) has pulled another rabbit of out his hat and the county once again will be the losers. Lets hope this is another bad rumor.

I agree with you, but my question is, do people not see what is happening? Small town politics at it's best! Unreal!

Its 99.9% confirmed, its Larry the (GOB) cashier from Fat Backs. Another black eye for the citizens of Cherokee County! Next it will be Tony ****y for Clerk of Court.

There were a least three people that were a lot more qualified than Larry. This is a tragedy to the tax payers of Cherokee County North Carolina and will hurt the morale of our county employees. It sends a clear message that its not about talent, or qualifications, but its about the buddy system. The manager is being manipulated by the commissioners.

All you people need to do now is report all screwed-up dispatched calls, or improper responses to calls. When something big happens in the future the county will not have anything to defend themselves with. Its sad, but someone will have to get killed, or hurt seriously as a direct result of the manager's poor judgment in hiring a poorly qualified person to direct the 911 center.
