View Full Version : Coad found NOT GUILTY

Did anyone really believe Coad was guilty of the Battery charge? The S/A should have never taken this case to trial. The Sheriff should have never fired this Deputy nor should he have sought charges.

Just another stinging loss for the Sheriff. How long will it take to reinstate Coad like they did Randy Frye?

Not guilty......................what a great day today has been!

Morgan won't let a deputy get jacked up like that without a complete and impartial investigation, a fair and recorded hearing and clear evidence of guilt. From allegation to termination in one easy step is the Ronniemac way.

And we are to believe this because????

Have you forgotten how David Craig treats deputies? Posting video (editted to make it look worse) of incidents with such biased reporting that they were automatically guilty. David Craig's outrage when they got off? David Craig and Arety's stint with CLEO who demanded deputies be fired and charged before they ever had a day in court.

Coad should have had due process before he was fired, but Morgan's core supporters have an even worse track record. Don't forget RMPT with their famous 1in4 post every day are the people that got David Morgan to run. I'm sure they would have your best interests at heart should you screw up.

Yes, we are in for another lawsuit because of the current Sheriff and his impulsive moves to fire people.
Personally Coad should get his job back and he will get compensated and he will probably sue for false arrest and back pay and all that, we all are going to pay, as the taxpayer, but in fact most of us do not believe in having our deputies punished when it is not justified.
Evidently the jury did not believe the accuser in spite of the video which makes one wonder if the video was altered in some way.
What happens if the S.O. has already applied for Coads' standards to be taken, well that could be another bag of worms to be opened.
Coad, since he is acquitted should take the S. O. to task for what they have put him through.
Good luck to all the deputies that have been fired unjustly in the past and the future ones that McNesby will let Smith to get rid of before knowing the whole story.
As for Morgan being the answer, only time will tell the truth! 2008 is coming fast.
 [/b]

Mr. Morgan more than likely will bend under the pressure of the public just like McNesby has. Looks better for them to fire the deputy and be forced to hire him/her back than it is to stand behind someone like he should. Anyone else agree with this?

Really? I doubt that Morgan can be fair. Review his infomercial where he inplied that an employee jail should have been fired in the Boggon death. Mporgan made the comment without having any direct knowledge of the incident. Morgan is total bullhockey!

O.J. was innocent too.

You should be able to answer this one yourself. Does it look better for McNesby now? Will a wrongful termination lawsuit look better? And look better to whom? Certainly not the deputies who get no backing from McNesby anymore. He used to cover for everything until he got caught covering too many things. Morgan won't be about coverups. He'll give deputies a fair shake and a recorded hearing. Just like the civilians, Morgan will see deputies as innocent unless proven otherwise. Right now you are one allegation away from unemployment.

Just like he got rid of Doc Ely.

Campaign personnel changes happen for a variety of reasons. You have no idea why or how he the change occurred. Nor is it any of your business. Deputy rights are a completely different matter. Of course you know that but your love for the incumbent blinds you to the truth. Your condition is temporary. Just like the sheriff's tenure.
