Looking for info on 2-3 different types of rifles capable of being mounted/carried in a harley davidson saddle bag. Colt model 635 and M4 Commando HK MP-5N HK UMP-9 are 3 sizable options.
Does your dept. motor officers carry any? Or does some of your border agencies do?
Any info would help. Thank You.

I have never heard of any motor officers carrying rifles on their bikes. I have seen the Border Patrol carrying them on ATV's, but that's it. Why do you need one????

our motors in my dept (south florida-miami area) answer calls and do traffic enforcement. two most dangerous calls for police? traffic stops and domestics, we do both. so many criminals carry weapons down here. in last month we had 6 officers shot in the tri-county area here. our motors were assisting in the manhunt the day after all shootings....last shooting the bad guy used a ak47 shooting 4 killing 1 officer..always been a war zone down here but getting worse...stay safe.
