Coralrose Anniversary

NORTH PORT - It was one year ago today that 6-year-old Coralrose Fullwood went missing.
Despite exhaustive efforts by law enforcement, her murder remains unsolved.
Her parents told police they last saw the little girl about 2 am on September 17th, when they checked on her. But the next morning she was gone.
Her body was discovered several hours later, just two blocks from her home.
She had been sexually assaulted and murdered. The DCF charged the parents with neglect and they lost custody of their other four children for a while.
Their marriage broke up and Coralrose's father, Dale fullwood, is now serving a year in prison followed by five years probation after child pornography was found on his computer.
Police say those charges are unrelated to the little girl's murder. The investigation continues.
