With shift pick approaching fast. Anyone have any thoughts on who is going to be the better persons to work for? With morale where it is, it seems we are going to be picking more based on who to work for other than where to work.

You pick a shift and days off that are the best for you. Having a good Sgt and good Capt are secondary to your peace of mind. Just a thought but go out and do your job, don't bug your Sgt to death and go home every night. Everything else will take care of itself.

Who you work for is a big part of peace of mind. Bad supervisors can make the job even more unbearable!

What are the chances of them trying to take the 10 hrs away from us and forcing 8 hr shifts?

Stick to shift 1. No majors or chiefs. Good captains and laid back sergeants.
