Already the mechanics of retribution are in place the majority of votes came from the rank of police, so payment in full will be required.

For the task of punishing the Po?s the administration have elected the Off-Duty Offices and they already have the medication to punish the regular Po?s for voting. Soon before you start an off-duty you will have to call a phone number, input your IBM, job number, location and times.

If you work pass the established time, you must collect the extra 3 or 6 dollars surcharge. With this system, any sergeant or brass can check how many off-duties or how many hours you have worked at any given time through a computer link and don't even think of divorcing, all your ex has to do is fill a short form and she will be given all your off-duty work history.

The times of overlooking working pass the allowed hours for a day or week is over. You will be held accountable from this point forward. So start saving some money because living from paycheck to paycheck will not be possible any more.

Looks like the FOP came 2nd in this race but it is not over till is over. If they stop now they will be render inconsequential as an organization and all of us that cannot leave yet will suffer the consequences during future contract negotiations.

We are already committed in this fight so the next step is to make those words uttered my Manny Diaz I support the Chief obsolete. LET?S WIPP OUT THE BLUE SHIRTS AND HOUND CITY HALL UNTIL THEY GET THE PICTURE.

Now the FOP and all the officers need to get the citizens involved. Make contacts with your citizen groups and get them to support you at the Sept. 11 Commission meeting. Seniors are great for suporting the police. If enough civilians show up and speak their minds to his Honor, the Mayor then maybe he'll see the light. I know that's a long shot but it's worth a try. A little intimidation might work well too.

I am sure that this makes for good drama, but the off-duty trac has been coming for a long time. It was suppose to go online last year but IT has been trying to work out the kinks in the system. This isnt retribution but just a tool to be able to track the over 20000 off -duty jobs that occur annually. There are more important issues then how many hours a cop works during the week. Stay focused on important things.

Retired is correct. Your missing out on using your best tool. The citizen's on your calls. As stated here before, telling folks on calls about the mass leaving of Officer in 1980, lead to the increase of the dept. size. Tell the customer what this is all about. the great number of trained expirenced cops who refused the drop or just quit and went elsewhere. About the sergeants who asked to be busted back rather than trying to handle the pressures of comstat and crazy upper command. Don't sit and wait, make it happen, use your right to free speech. STAY UNITED, give out commissioner's phone numbers, and don't forget fire fee Manny's number. Fill the parking lot of city hall again, like last Sept. Don't stop now, it's far from over.

The only difference is Manny no longer needs votes. He will no longer pander to the voters since he cannot run for re-election. But the earlier posts were right. Keep this thing on the vehicle and the denials that came after. If anyone complains about money after receiving a decent contract then we will look like crap. We are already starting to take a beating from the media thanks to Armando, but don't need another black eye.
