It is my understanding that Collier has been very aggressive in their approach to combat the crimes of illegal aliens. We have a large population of "migrants" with a majority of them probably here illegally, but more importantly a serious gang issue and the criminal activity resulting from their connections. I am a detective with Manatee County and we are thinking very seriously of getting on board after we receive the proper training. Is it possible someone could provide me with a contact name and number of someone who is in the unit and could lead us in the right direction. Keep up the great work and stay safe.
