View Full Version : THE TRANSITION FROM DISPATCHER TO COP
Greetings all. I would just like to comment on a subject dealing with dispatchers. I have known a few in my time here and for the most part they have all done an excellent job. It is a very stressful job and even frustrating at times. When a dispatcher decides to try and become a cop it is not always an easy transition. There have been some dispatchers come out and do ride alongs just to see what it is like on the other end of the radio and I have personally hosted several ride alongs for them over the years. I would like to take this opportunity to commend those that have made the crossover. You had the desire and fortitude to keep focused and give it your all to get what you wanted. Kudos to all that have become a member of the rank and file.
I used to be a porn star now I'm a cop in dist 11...easy transition
I use to work at the Golden Corral and now I work In Pompano Beach as a SET TEAM Deputy how ironic serving the animals in all ways of life.

I hate to say it because I know the word is over used....but it comes to mind when I read a comment like this.....multiple choice....the guy who wrote this is a:
A) ranking deputy
B) kiss ass
C) a blow hard
D) bootlick
E) B & C
If you guessed E, you're right! Now get out the barf bag!
