There is a very scary rumor that this former corrections sergeant that got fired is running for sheriff. This guy did not have the brain power to be a sergeant. Please don't embarass yourself by running for sheriff.
This guy is a complete A**, he couldn't complete an investigation if he tried. He ran for Sheriff in W. Palm and didnt stand a chance. Steve please waist some more money and run for Sheriff in Broward. You are a MORON!!!!!

The best candidate on the short list for appointmnet is Danny G. I believe Daniel Goldberg to be of high moral and ethical standards thus making him Govenor Crist's best choice for an appointment.

SOULE IS NOT RUNNING FOR SHERIFF AND RETIRED IN 2005. Soule makes about 210,000 a year why run for less cash. He was never fired check hr and read retirement papers at psb. God Bless brothers and sisters. :idea: [/b]
Soule is not running for BSO Sheriff it is a bad rumor. He did run in Palm Beach Sheriff in 2005 placing 4th out of 13 candidates. He was asked to run by members of the republican party. He is currently the Director of Investigations for an Insurance corporation and he handles the entire state of Florida. I served with him during Desert Storm and recently called him on the phone. He had nothing but positive REMARKS FOR THE MEN AND WOMAN OF BSO. Thanks for your time. Please be safe.

As a former Major now retired I signed Steven's retirement papers. He was a great Detective Sergeant and did a tremendous job on his cases so does this answer your question jailer???????????????

You must have been sleeping in 2005, Soule brought charges against Colonel Tom Brennan and Jenne. Brennan please verify with Mr Donnally at the sao it is public record after BRENNAN made a threat 30 staff members, 6 woman in the room along with deps to Capt in the room. Three of the staff members made allegations that they were in fear of Brennan. The charges were filed corruption by threat and assault. John Hanlon now the sheriffs IG had charges dismissed because brennan gave info on another bso case. Brennan admitted he was wrong and he took responsibility. Hanlon asked Soule to give a statement the 29 others were never called in by Hanlon. The fdle was given the info.
True story about 1 hour after Soule retired a memo came out to all districts and property, not allowed. Brennan had the memo placed and authored it. Brennan was told by Lt. Frank Balante that Soule said he was a coward. Soule admitted to the comment. The rest of it I dont know however Soule retired in Feb 2005. I know Soule took the investment plan and moved on. He completed 18-19 yrs. Human Resources always has copies of retirement info call 321-4400. Good luck.
Sheriff J will be there for a long time. When he retires Charlie Tiger from seminole will run and get elected.
Soule saved me when he was in Professional Compliance as a Sergeant. In 1999 I was involed in a use of force complaint. Soule was assigned. I struck a known drug dealer after he elbowed me in the jaw. Soule did a canvass of the area and found two witneses that observed the confrontation. Both said he hit me first. The case was unfouded and I was thrilled. Soule said one thing that stuck with me "I find the facts and nobody wants to hear my opinions".

When you eat the same food as inmates your mind gets stupid you might want to read those retirement papers. Oh jailers have another blog. When the republican party calls you up and said run Jenne out of town that might mean something for him. He must of caught you dirty like he did Jenne and Brennan. Why do think Brennan had to resign. I know him and I'm dle for 22 yrs and I dont like bs jailers however he knew both sides of the street. Road and jail and when he came out on the road cases to assist in a use of force shooting etc he was a man about it. Lamberti is a jenne jackass and Creamer is the man. First of all I'm not running for Sheriff, apparently judging by this website I'm the only deputy not running. Second of all I've made no statements either for or against any candidate. Frankly I would vote for a **** Brickman over the current incumbent. I am pretty secure in my job, I guess you are not. I guess when you work in the jail kitchen and would hope one of your OLD BUDDIES might have a slim (very slim) chance of becoming Sheriff, it might get you a RFM slot in the trash detail.
I am concerned that I haven't seen much of the top brass of the Broward Sheriff's Office continuing their support of Deputy Hernandez, with the exceptions of 2 Majors and 1 Executive Director. It is funny how they say how much we mean to them and how proud they are, but they never take the time to tell you that on a regular basis.

Without a doubt Al Lambertti is one of the few standup people in police work He came up from the ranks, worked Lauderhill, District 3 mids , etc. He became involved in many scrapes at Big Daddys bars while working mids. He is an old time "cop's cop". Worked OCD and has an actual knowledge of what "we" cops do.
The guys at other agencies, when he was Acting Chief, talked highly of him.
If you havent worked with him, then you dont know him. I worked with him for years and served with him on the FDLE Violent Crime Task Force which he chaired, to be sure other cops throughout all of South Florida received money or support for major cases. Al is a true professional.

The fact that Goldberg met with the Governor in Gainesville today seems suspicious. Did anyone notice him standing behind the Governor while being interviewed on channel 10?
William "Billy" Davison of Dania Beach has already filed and is a Dem. candidate for Broward Sheriff in 2008. Davison formerly ran unsuccessfully for School Board.

Lori Parrish has filed to run for Property Appraiser again so you can assume that she will not be running for Sheriff. I know nothing of the aforementioned candidates for Sheriff.
There is a guy from my department, Major Charles Nanney, who is rumored to be planning a run for BSO sheriff. He is the real thing a street cop who happens to be brass, he cares about the officers, and has big cojones. He is still on the PBA board even though he is a major.
I would ask about him from the MDPD rank and file to see what they say about his leadership abilities and character as every where he has worked productivity and moral has sky-rocketed, we would hate to lose him!
I think what the Agency needs is someone that they know and trust. We have been in turmoil for years. Once Jenne is gone we can start to rebuild and bring ourselves back to the credible Agency we once were. We need someone who knows the Agency inside out and can start the healing process right away. You all know what it's like when "a new guy" shows up. There's that process of each dog sniffing each others butt and nothing get's done for a year. Let's get someone in here that we know. This Wheeler guy might be the greatest cop alive, but not for us at this time. Drago is a great guy too, but not what we all need right now. Goldberg might be your best bud, but he's not qualified.

I think what the Agency needs is someone that they know and trust. We have been in turmoil for years. Once Jenne is gone we can start to rebuild and bring ourselves back to the credible Agency we once were. We need someone who knows the Agency inside out and can start the healing process right away. You all know what it's like when "a new guy" shows up. There's that process of each dog sniffing each others butt and nothing get's done for a year. Let's get someone in here that we know. This Wheeler guy might be the greatest cop alive, but not for us at this time. Drago is a great guy too, but not what we all need right now. Goldberg might be your best bud, but he's not qualified.
All joking aside, Creamer or Lamberti are the people we need. They can bring back stability and pride to this Agency.

Well, I'm with you that Al Lamberti would do a great job as sheriff, as would Dennis Creamer. Both honorable men with good leadership and management skills. Also don't count out Wiley Thompson. He didn't get a great deal of respect from the current command but he's an intelligent well credentialed man of character and true to his convictions - like Creamer and Lamberti.
The problem here is that what we say and think is of little consequence. Gov. Crist will put someone in there that he trusts and respects - Tom Wheeler's name keeps popping up and Al Lamberti was mentioned on the news too. All we can hope for is that one or all of those that have the respect of the troops will be in a position of authority to help guide and direct the new sheriff.
Maybe we need a new forum for who we want for DLE and DOD command staff and the new sheriff can read it. Just kidding....[/b]

What we need is a real cop as sheriff. Someone who has worked his way up the ranks while not forgetting where they came from. Someone who is a leader not just a manager, someone who can balance the needs of the community, the morale of the troops and do the right thing. No nepotism, no croynism, no politics........ just crime fighting.
That person has to be the filter for the department and rely on their experience not that of siccophant cronies it doesn"t matter if the person is from within or from outside , just an ethical stand up cop!!!

Souleman Lamberti is good but I like you better.
By all the post over the past several weeks the Deputys really appear to pushing for Lamberti ,,, and don't get me wrong if you guys want him ,,, i think you know better then I do. I have heard nothing but good things about him from you guys and it kinda proved itself by him being made the acting Sheriff by the hummmmm Gov. But I have had experience with another person who just threw his name in the hat. That would be Mr. E Williams,,, he used to work for B.S.O and went on to become a judge and I have even had a few cases in front of him and let me tell you I Think he is a Cops Cop . He puts bad guys away and will not the SAO try to screw with you. So with that being said and being a county resident my vote is going to be leaning towards him!!. I agree that you guys deserve a breathe of fresh air to bring the agency back to were it was. I can't say anything negative about Sherriff Lamberti, but i have admiration and respect for E. Williams!!!!! His actions and his track record work for me.

As a former Major now retired I signed Steven's retirement papers. He was a great Detective Sergeant and did a tremendous job on his cases so does this answer your question jailer???????????????

Creamer is the most qualified and a real honest man unlike Jenne was.
