It really is unbelievable how many times that woman has seen the inside of a jail. This arrest happened in Charlotte County but she has been arrested in more than one county in the past and has an admitted meth habit. Little wonder that no one wants to donate to the reward fund.

I worry more about her friend Dazzle, but I agree, that Ellen being best buds with Diane is hurting her image and the reward plight.

Who cares!

06-28-2007, 06:48 PM
Who cares? Quit a few of us actually. Dazzle has her own arrest record tatarooni and even lost her daughter to DCF. Unfortunately she got her back just like Ellen got her children back. Those sure are some upstanding law abiding intelligent citizens that Ellen has for friends. (rolling eyes)

STILL THINK WE FAILED EARLY ON WITH THE INVESTIGATION

Should have squeezed Ellen harder to get to the truth.

STILL THINK WE FAILED EARLY ON WITH THE INVESTIGATION

That is the 2nd time I have seen someone with a nppd screen name make a statement like that. I am beginning to believe it. Wonder where George is? He should start sniffing around.

I sure hope thats not true....I'm still trying to remain hopeful... I really think they have some of the pieces of the puzzle, but need those final few pieces to complete the puzzle and make an arrest... at least I hope so!!

Still think you are road patrol. Go back to writing your tickets and let the detectives do their jobs.

None of the posts are made by people that have registered screen names, so I don't believe that they are really from NPPD.

Hey, I'm still here. I've been just laid up with a blown L3 disc.

And who said I haven't been sniffing around.

I know that there are officers good at their jobs, and officers who should not have a badge. And I know from personal knowledge that NPPD is trying very hard to solve this case. And I've been watching them, speaking to the same people they are speaking to. It is a small neighborhood where Coralrose lived, etc.

However, if I felt it was in the best interest to blow the investigation and expose what some inside the PD and outside (close to it) are saying is a failure, I'd do it in a heart-beat. Coralrose deserves justice.

Hey, I want justice too, and that is why I have backed off, not digging too deep. Not pressing too hard. Not using the dirty secrets I know to get to the truth. However, I have keep looking into things.

Since there is much evidence to look though, and many theories and suspects, I'd rather let the cops do their jobs. Give them time. Unless someone thinks that I should not.

George, the pleasantness of you being laid up and not writing your poppy**** has been pleasing to all of us at the PD. Let me remind you that you are not a cop. You say you were once, but I find that hard to believe. Stick to your (ahem), stories, and let the detectives do their jobs. Don't think so highly of yourself to print that you should get involved here, like you will solve this. Let me remind you of what the Chief said, "we will not make an arrest to make an arrest...we will do it when we have enough to fully prosecute those involved."

Good for you George. You have bolstered my faith in you. There are quiet a few people waiting and watching for your truth's to be published, asap, but I understand that you can not do that if it means jeopardizing this case. Thank you for that.

But, on second thought, the evidence and everything that goes along with the case would be left in tack and readily available for the new officers and detectives that would come in after the turnover, right?

Maybe fresh eyes and unburdened, guiltless attitudes would help to get this killer caught. (?)

Bless your efforts man!

Why would it be pleasing to the NPPD if he was not getting to close for your comfort? His efforts are not binding the detective's actions at all, right? How could it? What is wrong with anything he has published to date, that has hindered their job in any way? Did I miss something?

George, your poppy**** is much appreciated!

Seriously??? George McGinn used to me a cop????
There is no freakin way that is possible. I don't work for North Port, but I was an LEO, and I have read some of McGinn's stuff. I have to say he is a sorry excuse of a man that has nothing better to do then make people look bad and put his name on it for recognition. I have heard he actually went to the police station and started scouring through public records just to dig up some kind of dirt so he had something to write for the paper. NO, he couldn't find anything good, which I know there has to be good things that happen daily.... Instead he actually had to spend hours searching for something, anything. THEN he messed up what he wrote... It was either an honest mistake or a flat out lie.
George, if you weren't already working for the Sun "gossip column", I would say you should work at the National Enquirer. I feel badly for those that "respect" you.

Is it not the medias job to make the public aware of what you call DIRT!
Isn't that how government and it's agencies are kept in check?

I disagree. George has written some interesting articles that others might not dare to publish......like the case of the innocent woman in NP who endured several officers pointing guns at her head. Please keep up the good work George and I hope you are feeling better soon.

I don't remember the case of the women with the guns. From what I know, if an officer pulls his gun it's because he has reason to believe there may be some danger. Even if they have the wrong person. I don't know the story so I will not elaborate further.
I'm all for keeping government agencies in check myself, but maybe someone who knows what he's talking about and understands the training and issues law enforcement deals with would be a better fit for digging up the dirt. I agree that there is no way he was ever an LEO.

You don't need to be a specialist in any kind of field to know the difference between right and wrong.
Why is it that because you "don't know the story" so you will not "elaborate further" about the case of the women, yet you will agree that there is no way that George McGinn was ever an LEO unless you know him personaly or the whole story.

What do you call someone who hides behind a computer screen to rip apart others?

A Coward

The fact is, George or any other person should be able to dig for day's, week's, month's, year's into the North Port Police Department and never find any serious dirt to begin with. But, since he has found it, tell it, get it out in the open and shed some light on the dirty activities going on and clean the Department up.

If there is dirt there to be found, it was not George that put it there. If you are ashamed of what will be coming out into the open, it was you that messed up, not George. Clean your act up and start helping to get the Department cleaned up and keep that way.

Study and learn your ethical responsibilities of the position you are holding and follow them. You will never be perfect, but consider the fact that you are working a position that demands utmost ethical behavior at all times.

The Department should be so squeaky clean that they would be inviting George and each and every person that wants to take a look into the workings of the department to do just that at any given time...

KEEP IT REAL!
