Good question! I think the new guys were takng home about $1K but that was before the new contract and those guys had families with family medical. Thats why alot of them were having a hard time.

But, if you are a detail and court guy, you could easily tack on another $10K+ to that salary.

That sucks. So how much do you pay for a family to be on medical? After 9% contribution and medical you are making less than surrounding agencies.
