Any new additions within PCPD?

It appears if there are MORE Whinners, Complainers, Grippers, Moaners, in the PCPD dept. than ever before. Some of you who call yourselves officers should have worked for the previous Chief and his staff then you would have something to complain about. If you don't like the dept GET OUT AND GO WORK IN THE CORPORATE WORLD OR ANOTHER DEPT.

Good one Chief! It is even worse now.

i think these days at the plant city police dept. they call them snakes and back stabbers... so whats worse... Chief.? :o :( :evil:

What happened to the pension decrease?

I noticed on the Tampa web site their current contribution is 2.05%. I realize they are a much larger agency, but even at 2.05%, their pension plan is doing well. We have been paying 13.75% for awhile now and I haven't heard of any increases in benefits,etc.

THE PENSION REDUCTION BECAME A BUDGET ISSUE AND IS NOW "TIED INTO THE FISCAL YEAR" WHICH STARTS 10/1. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND IT IS STILL SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN BUT NOT BEFORE 10/1. THIS WAS BROUGHT UP AT THE LAST EAB MEETING AND THIS WAS THE RESPONSE WE GOT.
