Commo Dispatch

I do 2nd this, however one problem. We would loose money for doing that. It is stated in the contract that Dist 9 have their own channel. Also states that we can use it as an absloute last resoirt back up under emergency circumstances. If we do, we would loose money out of the contract, and thats why they won't do that. I think that we need to do something, because it is way to busy for both of those Districts to be on one channel, and more times than not, it is an officer safety issue!

3 and 1 need their own channels

Lets just let CJ dispatch the whole county. She will put everyone in place.

With all the 911 Money we get from each citation written ($12.50 for each ticket) there is no reason we can't restructure their contract to include dispatching for Wellington. BIG OFFICER SAFETY ISSUE. I CAN NEVER GET ON CHANNEL WHEN I'M TRYING TO CHECK OUT WITH SOMEONE BECAUSE WELLINGTON IS GOING 10-40 or 10-61

Wow ! ! If this is true......this sucks....I live in RPB and there are times int he middle of the day, when othr channels are humping, RPB channel hasnt a sound on it.....GOOD for them but not so good for us...I agree...WELLGLADE SHOULD be on RPB channel.....in fact....merge comm centers with the Glades....

The only radio traffic on Royal Palm is them going 1050 all day and all night long, with your occasional multi car code three response to a shoplifting or delayed call.

The village wanted traffic enforcement all day and night long. I guess bad habits are hard to break.

Sounds like a great idea. District 8, District 9 and the western part of District 3 should go with Belle Glade dispatch. District 1 is way too busy.

05-26-2007, 04:32 AM
Why would District 9 want to be dispatched out of Belle Glade...they have their dispatch center and dispatchers.

Royal Palm has in their contract they will have their own dispatch center. Royal Palm deserves to have their own center if they want it and should not be dispatched by Dist 5. Dist 5 has their own center for the all the cities and the unic area. It's better to have more than one com center county wide. By the way Royal Palm Mayor said he wouldn't mind having Wellington on their channel.

OK...fair enough......lets make it RPB, Wellglade and they handle the overflow from inquirey as well....

Sounds like a plan to me...maybe we can throw the new Lox Groves contract on there as well

I believe this person is jealous.

Sounds like it, but truth is, Channel 1 does need to be split. Too much radio traffic.
