WANTED- Honest, dependable, loyal, hardworking person to run for Sheriff of Pasco County. You must be able to keep your promises, and put your employees ahead of political buddies and contributors. Unlike previous Sheriffs, you must be educated and intelligent while still being personable. You must understand the business of running a very large law enforcement agency and still understand the basics of being a cop. You must understand rising crime rates, and have solutions (other than Sam Walton's book) on how to fix the problems. You must apply simple interpersonal skills to relate to your employees, not hide behind unqualified people you owe favors to.
You must not have skeletons in your closet, or owe anyone political paybacks. You must be able to allow the cops to be cops, and encourage union amongst the troops and the agency as a whole. You must be able to choose a qualified administration, and be able to tell your friends you cannot help them. You must understand that the needs of the agency outweigh your personal gains and goals.
