Can an agency in Florida hire and put an NYPD officer on the street before he passes any Florida certification testing ?

Yes he can be hired as a temp employee after academy but must pass state exam --forget how long he has to do it.

This is not completly true. There was a PD here in central florida that brought on a guy who worked 6 months, then attended an academy. NO LE exp.
He passed FTO after 12 weeks and was on his own untill the academy.
