Ok... if ANYONE here knows Tina Conley , let her know that Matt's family appreciates the fact that she pays her respects to him , however... however... its going a bit too far. This lady is neither close friend of family of Matt's. She does not know his family and MAYBE has seen Matt once or twice a year. Her posts on the Ledger site make it sound like she was Matt's long lost soulmate and that is about infuriating to the family. So if anyone knows her..... tell her to get a new hobby. Mouring by proxy is NOT working very well for her.
AMEN! PLEASE get a life Tina....You act like a close friend...Matt MAYBE saw you once twice at the most a year. So you grew up next door to the Williams...get over it and quit stalking him on the Ledger.

Okay, I finally looked at the memorial page. Alll I can say is wow.
This woman obviously needs help. Everyone does miss Matt and as much as he is on all our minds, we dont write 1-3 messages a day. This is making her sound like she is fantasizing him.
I'm trying to figure out how to put this but I'm going to try and explain it, hopefully itll help so bear with me.
Maybe this is the first time in her life that someone she knows died that their death created such tragedy and hurt to a very large amount of people that she put her name forward because she feel that because she knows him, that someone will feel sympathy for her.
We all have love for that man in our separate ways, however, there are people in this world that take that love to the farthest extent. Unfortunately in this case, Matt has past away and is not able to tell us his thoughts. And I'm sure at first it was flattering, but after a while, it becomes an awareness that maybe something is wrong here.
I miss Matt and Ive known Matt for a large part of my life. I first met him when he transferred to become COPS deputy for Wahneta/Eloise and I started at the S.O.
Now, everytime a person flees from me or it mirrors the image of that fateful day, it comes to my mind full force. Do I take different actions now and not be as brazen, yes. Do I use more officer safety in situations, Heck yes. There are people out there that know Matt better then me, know him as much as me and know him less then me.
So anyone who knows her, please tell her to stop. Her admiration has become loathsome. I'm sure the family can only take so much before it will become hate/be furious and emotions will rise. Or if she is married, please raise this awareness to her family to help her.

Yes, we damn well do! If you knew Matt -- which you apparently didn't -- you know what kind of man he was. Nuff said! For anyone to theorize, based on some bimbo's ramblings, that he might have been less than faithful is just plain obscene.

I never heard of Tina Conley, but I just read the last ten pages of the guestbook. You can actually see the psychosis growing. This person needs some serious help. She is actually deifying a man she barely knew. If she is not stopped or helped she will continue to grow more attached until she does some serious damage.

Good morning Matthew sorry that I havent written in a while, but you know that you are on my mind and in my heart every day. Matthew this is another time in my life that I could use some Matthew guidence. How do I continue to mess my life up the way that I do? Years ago things did not seem this hard. Making decesion's did not seem that difficult. Now it seem's like every time I turn around I am messing up. Today while you are waching over me as you always have please give my heart a little more patience, a little more understanding, and most of all please help me stop crying over anything and everything. People look at me like I'm crazy at times but they just dont have a clue as to what is really going on deep down inside. Matthew you are forever in my heart and always on my mind now and forever. Just so you guys know, Tina was a girl that was part of a family we grew up with. As kids we were all pretty close, however, time seperated us as close friends. For those who knew Matt, you know he would not turn his back even on an old friend. I can tell you that Tina is being quite psyco about this. Matt never did and never would have those type feelings for her. He was good friends with her brother but that is about it. That just a little bit from Matt's (big)little brother on Tina.
Joe you may be true ...but he'd tell her to stop friggin calling him Matthew.
i don't know this tina or her relationship to matt. i know he never spoke of her to me or around me. please don't imply there was something torrid between them unless you know it for certain. that's a touch disrespectful to a good friend who can't defend his honor. nancy does read this and there's no need for that sort of supposition.

On a sad note... Rocky (Matt's last dog that has lived with the family) is now with Matt and Diogi....
