St. Pete Times reports the SAO won't prosecute the woman arrested at the council hearing for handing out a Don't Discriminate flyer.

Hopefully this will end this dumb chapter.

I didn't realize we put a felony resisting w/violence on her.
Boys, you know that's just silly.
You really want SAO looking twice anytime you bring that charge legitimately.
Next time take a breath and count to ten when your blood is up.

Excellent letter in the St. Pete times today from this woman who was arrested. It makes me ashamed to say I live in Largo when I read about this woman's arrest.

Well, I hope the sgt who made the decision to forward this ridiculous charge has learned that there are consequences to his actions. Though his antics are entertaining most of the time, he has been known to cross the line....and forwarding a felony charge against a person for not showing him the respect that he seems to feel is owed to him is a prime example.

You know Sgt.
He's like a pit bull. Hard headed and irrational at times. Tried to back him off the felony. Oh well. Been down that road a time or two.
Doubt he's learned a thing.

The City Manager apologized last night for the arrest.
Didn't see that coming. She must have a hell of a lawsuit.

She didn't have a lawsuit =she asked for a public apology and got it. The end.
