You wanna boost morale? Then make Overton the next Chief.
That will be a sign of some promise. The man Is a Cop's cop, you do what's ask from him and he will back you, but If you don't he will let you know and reprimand you. That Is fair!!!!!

Unlike our current Chief his Indians don't listen and will do nothing extra for that man.

Overton, however Is a leader who actually gives a crap If we get hurt or there Is a loss In your family?

Leader's are someone regardless of us not having take homes, laptops, more pay, etc.... will make you go the extra mile because you know deep down inside has the best Intentions for his troops.

THE MAN IS A LEADER THAT 99% OF THE DEPT. WILL FOLLOW HIM THROUGH FIRE IF TOLD BECAUSE YOU KNOW HE WILL FIND A WAY TO GET YOU OUT AND IF HE CANT HE WILL GET BURNED TRYING!
NO LIKE OTHERS THAT WILL LEAVE YOU TO BURN WHEN YOU HAD YOUR BEST INTENTIONS TO DO GOOD FOR THE DEPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5000 never wanted Overton as Chief because he just might tell him when his policies or decisions are F'd up. This is not a risk you take with Rolandito or Aggie; they will roll over and do what they're told no questions asked. DelToro (God rest his soul) and Overton are what the Department needed, not the Beavis and Butthead we ended up with.

I could not have put it better myself. Unfortunately the next 100 has already been decided. Team "O" is not even in the running. It will most likely be Team "A" and there is a small possibility of Team "V", but that is less likely at least in the next couple of years. However,the whole department supposedly will follow Team "O", but no one will let their voices be heard.

Why don't we put out a departmental wide poll and have an Official PBA vote and have the membership suggest through the vote who they would like to be the next 100. We can then take this poll to the Mayor. It might not do any good, but at least we would have backed team "O" and God knows he needs the backing. He is being slowly rune out of HPD. They are doing a "DEL TORRO", God rest his soul, job on team "O" right as we speak. He is all alone and without any allies in the upper ranks. They did the same thing to Del Torro a couple of years back because no one stood up for him and they will do the same to Team "O" in the next year or so. So stop saying how much you like team "O" and make your voice heard!!! Take a God Dame stand for once or you will always get what you deserve.
