Pathetic how many feel they deserve more because they are "cops". Probably one of the worst "cops" we know

isn't that fact that you can get a Florida resident discount enough for you?? I understand that it can be expensive but....come on, you just want more than you might deserve.

LEO Spouse

Wow, you guys are tough! All the guy is asking for is if there's a discount available! I didn't get the impression he was looking for graft. I work and have discounts available at different venues because of what I do for a living, so why not LEO, too? I'm not saying you should demand anything, but if something is offered, why not take advantage of it? I'm not ashamed to use coupons, gift certificates or anything else. And if Disney or any other theme park offered me a discount because of my profession, I'd take advantage of it. Yes, most LEO's do make a good living, but what about the rookie who would like to take his kids to Disneyworld? Why not save where you can?

Now to anwser the question, it's a lot easier to get discounts to Universal than Disney. There are tickets available at Costco for Universal. And if you register on the websites for both parks, you get special offers from time to time, but the best bet for Disney is the Florida resident rate, as previously mentioned.

Have fun!

BEATING? YOU SHOULD get a beating alright. The general public ses that and it just creates hard feelings. Dont you have any pride at all?? I wouldnt even do that crap to get into a movie, let alone Disney.

Well that took some big ones. I will say that it made me laugh out loud to read that. I'm sure they got your money somehow. I would like to say that the first posting on here was a legitimate question but probably shouldn't have been asked in this forum. By the way, is that security guard coming down here for vacation soon? She sounds like a champ.

06-16-2007, 09:09 PM
If you can't afford to go on vacation at Disney or other popular attractions, do go. Save your money. Go on a budget, but don't embarrass all of us by badging your way in. I will see you in front of the FDLE hearings soon. You obvioulsy want to use your position in the wrong ways. Won't be long and you won't have a badge to flash.

06-16-2007, 09:12 PM
I say pay your own way in....use the badge to cut the line at "Space Mountain!"

06-17-2007, 03:28 PM
If the movies want to let you in free......Take it
If Disney gives you a free pass.............Take it
If you get any discount anywhere..........Take it

these businesses are happy to have police in their premises, on duty or off. Besides, police risk their lives everyday, whether they realize it or not, police never know when that gunfire may come. You DESERVE all the gratitude any business offers, take it!

the way i sees it, cops put their lives on the line for perfect strangers everyday. cops are the ones who get infected while trying to save lives. cops are the ones who get sued because victims and witnesses change their stories. cops are the ones who have to put their families 3rd or 4th after even the smallest hurricane. All for a society of drug users, drug dealers, porn junkies, thieves, liars, cheaters and a handfull of people who don't have any of these issues who cant wait to complain about your driving or your srinklers. Does society owe cops something more than it does the plumber or the store clerk ? you bet it does. It's about time that cop figured out that car dealerships, golf courses and lots of other places give bennies to politicians who are public officials. But the cop can't get a triple decker slopwich with a side of juice and a swizle stick for half price because that's a gratuity.
it's not about what the cop owes them, it's about what they owe the cop.
