Health Insurance

Do any state employees here have any advice when it comes to signing up for one of the state's health insurance plans? I've gotta enroll and i'm trying to decide which one is the best....the PPO, the HMO, or the Health Investor PPO and HMO. After reading the benefits guide, I just got a headache and still know little to nothing about the health plans. Thanks for any advice.

PPO. Blue Cross Blue Shield

BC/BS has not been renewing contracts unless local hospitals bend to their unreasonable demands...that sucks if your local hospital does not accept BC/BS! Call your hospital!!

If you are alone. PPO is ok but if you have a family by all means go HMO its much cheaper especially if you are having a child
