Sworn Police Dept??

I ready to retire from another state. Please forgive me for asking, but are you a sworn police dept. Some school systems have "special officers" that are not sworn. I'm looking to move and have a 2nd career. What are your requirements?

Your investigation skills must be that of a 5th grader. Where did it say that he was retiring from an agency in Florida? Second most of the agency in Florida are top notch. It was a shock when I came to NC on how backswords NC was compared to Fl. Although GA has the cake with the stand outside your car and write a ticket.
