If you are going through FTO and there is a clash between the recruit and the trainer, how far should this clash go? how about if the recruit is very argumentative towards learning the policies/procedures? And what if the recruit does not show up one day and also decides not to call to say they would be out?

Say what? What kind of a cluster of a question is that? Give us the whole story if you're talking about something that really happened.

Sound like the kind of person I would want on my shift counting on to back me up in life and death situations NOT

Send them home and write it up. When you are on training, you keep your mouth shut and take it or leave it.

Swallow what ever amount of pride you have. 12 weeks is not that long of a time to go in a career of 25 years. As an FTO, recruits should be seen and not heard until 4th Phase when they are on their own and being watched.

Unless there are major issues like demeaning in crowds and safety issues. Other than that "Be quiet and learn"
