Hello Fellow Troopers,

I have been assigned to Troop F, Ft. Myers area. I'm the only one that was assigned to the area. How is Lee County? Any good apartments to look at? How are the FTO's ? Is the Area Busy? Any information would be very helpful!
Thanks~RD

I can tell you it's expensive down there....I resigned from the State and went to the SO because I couldn't afford to live in S. Fla on state wages....

Yea, FHP isn't the best paying agency, especially down south.

03-27-2007, 04:53 PM
What don't you guys leave FHP alone. There are a lot shitty agency in florida so stop batching FHP.

ATTENTION: NON-FHP COMPLAINERS/LOSERS

Why don't you go to the message board for your respective agencies and quit *****in' about whether or not you may get a ticket from a Trooper. It's unlikely, but if you display the same attitude roadside as you do here, you probably deserve what you get.

Just to give you guys a heads up, I'm not planning to give any brother/sister in Blue/Red/EMT a ticket. If they're going 15+ I plan to give them at wose case a written warning.

You need to not even consider that...say have a great day and find something else or someone else...everyone speeds all over and all the time.

Recruit,

Dont start telling people what your doing. Just find your residence come too work say yes sir and no sir or yes mam and no mam. Learn your place your new teke it as it goes. Dont try and create a name for yourself like Toughguy. I dont care if your former Seals or whatever. Youre a rookie trooper. The best advice I can offer is do your job and LISTEN dont put in your two cents. As far as your comment about writting Blue/Red or whatever it was. Unless you are working a criminal case via crash or something I strong reccomend against citing people who can save your life. Troopers are a small breed compared to Police and Sheriffs we all need to work together. Stay safe and just go home at the end of your shift.
