i have seen n port fire dept on the interstate out on a crash but i have never seen nppd police out on a crash only fhp and the sheriff. i do see nppd writing tickets on the interstate once in a while whats up with that?

We respond to almost every accident on the interstate. FHP protocol is to work accidents if they are available. That being the case, we provide traffic control for the Trooper working the wreck. If they are not available, then we work the crash.
