 What a joke! I urge all members not to take this servey.
This survey is meaningless. It is quite clear that the agency does not care
what we want or what we think as evidenced by the great union contract that was just offered by the Sheriff. Why should our concerns about insurance be treated any differently by this agency than our concerns about dicipline, post retirement insurance, longevity pay, shift differential
just to name afew.

any thoughts? anyone?

Well we elected this so call Sheriff who cares about himself. Remember the next election.......................................... .........

It would appear that the insurance person is attempting to get constructive input from the field. Isn't that what we want?

I cannot believe you are blaming the Sheriff for the Health Insurance crisis?

Who do you blame? He is the one that wont bend on this. Do you not feel you are entitled to some type of insurance benefit after retiring
I know garbage haulers who have better

The survey is for the insurance renewal (open enrollment) for current
employees (i.e. would you rather stay with one company and pay higher
premiums or switch every year and save a few dollars). It has nothing to
do with the retiree insurance.

I have heard that our insurance coverage is much better than the
county's, probably because our insurance person cares.
