Should VPD's radio code be 86'd?
The familiar "10-code" shorthand that police and emergency services use to talk on the radio is going the way of the dodo bird.
"I have been thinking about it for a long time," VPD Chief Julie Williams said. "We will be having a lot of new people coming on board, so now might be a good time to seriously consider it (getting rid of the code)."
